How to solve problems?

Filed under: , by: Jerciline Sundar

In today's world, most of us ask the above question…
In this world we are facing lot of problems. The problem never comes with solution like in mathematics. Real world problems are mostly does not have solutions and it has lot of unanswered questions like
Why this thing happened to me?
What I did, for this one happened to me?
Some people may say, that I am not doing anything bad so far still, but why such situations for me?
Lot of unanswered questions…
Whenever a problem comes we don't get a solution to fix that. Most of the times, we will think how to solve the problem? Today we are going to have a look about two people from the Bible, where they faced the same problem and the different ways how they solved it.

Who are they?

The first person is Sarah (Genesis 17) and the second person is Hannah (1 Samuel 1).
What was their problem?
Both of them does not have child.
The solution can be seen in 2 ways.
The first one is The Worldly Way of Sarah and
The Second one is The Godly Way of Hannah

How they solved:

The Worldly Way of Sarah:
Sarah chose her own way. She chose Hagar as the second wife for her husband. She got the child through Hagar, but along with that, she faced lot of worldly problems.
Hagar became the problem of Sarah and finally Sarah made Hagar to run out of their sight with the new born baby. Finally that solution does not solve the problem of Sarah.
The Godly Way of Hannah:
Hannah went up to the House of the LORD and poured her heart to the LORD and then she was waiting for the LORD to answer and also completely relied on HIM to fulfill HIS will in her. As a result, she got a beautiful son and he became the great prophet in Israel and he is Samuel.

So, as I mentioned above we are in the world of facing practical problems. Whatever the problem comes to us is not at all a matter. But finding the solution for that problem is the main thing for us.  One way is our own way, that may solve the problem in the beginning and the end finishes up with plenty of problems.
Instead, if you leave your problem in the mighty hand of our LORD, He will solve the problem in the beautiful way.
We have to remember, we have the WONDERFUL LORD who can solve the problem in a beautiful way. We have to do one thing that is we have to submit our entire problem at the Our Savior Jesus foot at Calvary and we have to wait for HIM.
